Sketch SIX and its nearly DECEMBER!!!

Yay Christmas it only just around the corner!
If you would like to go around the corner Maree is just before me. Make sure you hop all the way around the girls to be INKspired.

This is the sketch we are working with this week.

Again I'm loving the challenge of these sketches!
With limited supplies as I am still starting out I don't always have all the shapes and sizes I wont.
So looking at it positivity all the improvising improves my creativity!

Here is my card!

I am in Christmas mode
however it was nice to change things up this week and make a baby card!

So many people around me are pregnant or having babies so iv been stock piling baby cards.

This Card is for a sweet baby girl. I m loving the neutrals tones a the moment.

With the circle I die cut a large circle then place it over my card front held it tightly and sponged around the outside with crumb cake ink onto crumb cake card.
Once I removed the circle I had this great affect.

I then put the circle back secured with a small glue dot
(that I touched with my fingers a few times to take off most of the sticky) and stamped the
 wood grain background.

THANKS FOR STOPPING BY!!

Cute Baby Box

on
20 Nov 2014
Cute Baby Box.

I'm in love with the GIFT BOX punch board!!
Iv only just gotten my hands on this handy new punch board from Stampin' Up! and iv been having so much fun.

I already had the envelope punch board and didn't see the need to purchase the box punch board as I could make boxes with my envelope board. How wrong was I! I had a friend bring over her Gift box punch board telling me I had to try it! Well I did and I fell in love.

Why you ask???

Making a box with this punch board is so super
Easy, Quick and Simple.

No need to look for that tutorial on pinterest searching through hundreds of pins (I know we have all been there) just to find the measurements and directions on how to make a box using the envelope board.

Just cut your paper to size and follow the board punching and scoring three lines at a time! All done super quickly!

Enough about the Gift Box Punch Board and more about the pretty decorations.
I love this hey buds stamp!!
Here I coloured it with Stampin' Write Markers, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz and
Crumb Cake.
I love how this gives it a vintage aged look.

I then added some Gold bakers twine Gold Sequin trim and on top a PINWHEEL made with the pinwheel sizzlits die which was on the Clearance rack this week. Click HERE to check it out!
You don't need the die to create this pinwheel but it makes life so much easier!

I finished it off with a clear vintage faced button and a bow of linen thread.

With a Blushing Bride belly band and a vintage doily I love this sweet little parcel.

The reason for this box was to hold a cute little gift for one of my closest friends new baby girl.

I created this gorgeous head band with elastic lace and
a sweet flower I hand made with silk fabric and pearl beads. Isn't it the sweetest!

I hope you enjoyed!

INKspired Blog Hop 5

Blog hop 5 already!!
VERRY MERRY

Welcome to this fortnight INKspired Blog Hop. Just before me is Narelle be sure to hop around and check out all the girls creations.

I am well and truly in CHRISTMAS mode!
Its taken me a little longer than usual this year with lots
of other occasions demanding me to make cards.

I do love the feeling of Christmas its FUN, EXCITING, super busy and great to spend time with friends and family!

With Christmas on my mind I got organised for the next blog  hop and
this is the sketch we are working with!

I struggled with this sketch mainly because I don't own the oval dies,
this put my thinking cap on.
How was I going to create an oval with out using the dies.
 What a great challenge!

Well with my thinking cap on!!!!.....

...........And with a little creative readjusting of the sketch (just a little bit) I created this!

I sponged the edges of the Very Vanilla smallest layer with crumb cake to create a vintage aged look and put some Real Red behind to make it pop!

I cut the Wonderful Wreath in half popped it up with dimensionals and used the Burlap ribbon to cover up the gap. I cut down the ribbon to make it thinner and then added a small strip of Very Vanilla and Real Red.

I finished it off by stamping VERRY MERRY and putting two tiny pearls either side.

Thanks for stopping by

Renee xx

Hello Darling,

I know you will enjoy looking at all the other ladies projects as you hop around!

Here is the sketch we were working with this week.

AND here is My card!
Im absolutely in LOVE with the Hello Darling stamp set!!

Iv used the floral stamp with Versamark ink as the background
I just love this tone on tone.

The sweet vintage looking flower is so easy to achieve with some scrunching and
tearing of what was two pansy punch flowers!

A clear button and some linen thread finish it off nicely

Of course the inside needs a little love too!
A cute linen thread bow adds a touch of love to the
inside I think

Well see you in two weeks, for our next blog hop!

Make sure you continue to hop around all the lovely INKspired ladies!!
